On the second day of Copenhell back in June, we caught up with Brutus that has taken the world by storm since their “Unison Life” release last year. The last time we saw Brutus, was in March and since then they have been busy with festivals and mainly touring. So it was a pleasure that they had time to sit down and play catch up with us at Rockfreaks.

We spoke a bit about how they felt their first show at Copenhell has been, and how they have been busy since “Unison Life” came out.

We spoke about “Unison Life”, and what the album is about, and what Unison actually means.

I got cheeky and asked if we could expect new material, but they responded with an honest and down-to-earth answer. A fan had sent in a question about where the band name “Brutus” came from, and how it felt right.

Even though many of us follow them on Instagram, it looks like they are always on tour. Spoiler, they really aren’t! They do have days at home with their family and close friends.
