Narcosatánicos reveal headlining Copenhagen show in May

Århus, Denmark-based noise punk group Narcosatánicos has revealed a headlining concert at Basement in Copenhagen on May 10th, with Syringe and Sortlegeme set to provide support.


Tickets for the show can be acquired from Billetto.dk for 100 DKK (+ fees), while more information is available in the official Facebook event.

Testament added to Jailbreak's 2024 line-up

Jailbreak — the open-air festival taking place at Fængslet in Horsens, Denmark on August 16th and August 17th this year — has added the Bay Area thrash metal veterans of Testament to its 2024 line-up.


Tickets for the festivities are still available for purchase over at Ticketmaster.dk, with the partout option costing 1345 DKK (+ fees) and one-day options selling for 845 DKK (+ fees). For more details, check the official Facebook event.


Testament will release their 14th studio album later this year, with more details still pending. In the meanwhile, you can watch the official music video for “WWIII” from their latest outing, 2020’s “Titans of Creation”, right here:

San Antonio, TX-born alternative metal crew Nothing More have lifted the veil on the official music video for their latest single “House on Sand”, featuring a guest appearance from I Prevail’s vocalist Eric Vanlerberghe, and you can watch it below. The track resides on their upcoming album “Carnal”, which was detailed in our earlier news post and is scheduled for release through Better Noise Music on June 28th.

Smash Into Pieces has dropped a new video single titled “Afterglow” online below. It is already the seventh piece of music to arrive from the Swedish alternative metallers since their latest studio album “Disconnect”, which came out via independent means in 2022, and is expected to feature on an impending follow-up. More details regarding such an effort are still pending, however.


Illdisposed share details of new album "In Chambers of Sonic Disgust"

Århus, Denmark-based death metal horde Illdisposed have set June 28th as the official release date for their new full-length offering “In Chambers of Sonic Disgust”. It will be issued by Massacre Records and comprises the following tracks:

Blaue Blume announce headlining domestic shows in November

Copenhagen, Denmark-resident indie rock ensemble Blaue Blume have announced headlining concerts at Falkonersalen in Copenhagen on November 08th and at the Aarhus Congress Center on November 09th.


Tickets for the first show cost between 390 and 440 DKK (+ fees) and are available for purchase via Billetlugen.dk, while more details can be found in the official Facebook event.

Kælan Mikla & Bardi Johannsson team up for "The Phantom Carriage"

Reykjavík, Iceland-based post-punk / no wave group Kælan Mikla has teamed up with composer Bardi Johannsson for a collaborative track called “The Phantom Carriage”, and you can hear it in the accompanying music video below. It was recorded as a score for the Swedish 1921 silent film “Körkarlen”.


Danish fans can look forward to watching Kælan Mikla live at Lygten Station in Copenhagen on June 21st. Tickets for that show are still available for purchase over at Billetto.dk for 180 DKK (+ fees), while more information can be found in the official Facebook event.

Mono reveals 25th anniversary European tour in October

Tokyo, Japan’s shoegaze icons Mono will be celebrating their 25th anniversary with a headlining European tour later this year, which will see the band performing their upcoming album “Oath” in its entirety, accompanied by a chamber orchestra.


The itinerary for the trek, which is listed in full below, includes a concert at Store VEGA in Copenhagen on October 28th. Tickets for the show are priced at 340 DKK (+ fees) and will become available for purchase at 10:00 a.m. this Friday, April 19th via Billetlugen.dk, whilst more details can be found in the official Facebook event.
