Hayaino Daisuki

Headbanger\'s Karaoke Club Dangerous Fire EP

Hayaino Daisuki is Japanese for \'i love speed\'. But it would\'ve been easy to guess that even without the use of a Japanese-English dictionary, considering the sheer destructive speed that their EP \"Headbanger\'s Karaoke Club Dangerous Fire\" rages forward with. The listener is given no space to breathe, as the band rushes through insanely technical thrash riffs, blinding solos and rapid-fire drum work. It gives you a good picture of the sound when their songs should probably be about 6 or 7 minutes in length instead of the 2 to 3 minutes that they last.

Additionally, the band\'s vocalist sounds like he\'s possessed by some sick demons, as he holds his indecipherable scream in Japanese at equally breakneck speed to the instruments, effectively making the entire record sound like a freight train crashing towards you at the speed of fucking light. It\'s a bold statement to make, but \"Headbanger\'s Karaoke Club Dangerous Fire\" is the craziest, fastest record I\'ve heard since... I don\'t even remember when. You thought some Slayer songs were fast and evil? Wait til you experience Hayaino Daisuki, because their relentless speed and aggression surpasses any and all songs by Slayer. The saying \"shreds like a motherfucker\" is used often all too lightly, but it fits perfectly on the Daisuki dudes. Think Evile on steroids or something. Prepare to be annihilated by speed, technicality, a ridiculously good screaming vocalist, and most importantly, by great songs that can\'t be pigeonholed into just one genre.
