Contest: Hatebreed + Unearth + Twelve Tribes

author PP date 12/10/06

Hatebreed will be playing their only Danish show this year on November 12th in Gimle, Roskilde with support from Unearth and Twelve Tribes. And guess what? You can win TWO FREE GUESTLIST PASSES in our first ever contest, sponsored by Target ApS. This is a fantastic opportunity for any of our readers to grab a pair of tickets to this all-star lineup. YOU can be the winner and take a friend with you to the gig and be able to skip the annoying queues at entrance. So what exactly is a guestlist pass and how on earth will you get your hands on these much wanted tickets? Read on to find out.

Being on the guestlist is a beautiful thing. I know this because one of the perks of working for a webzine is being included in these "vip" lists (if by the end of the paragraph you feel compelled about joining us as a gig reviewer please see the about page for more information). Basically, your name will be in flashy handwriting on a list at the door where they check for tickets. You can forget about waiting half an hour in the queue to get into the venue, as once doors are open, you can walk straight up to the front and let the security know you're on the guestlist and BANG, you're allowed in with a stamp in your hand after you've proven your identity. But how on earth will you get your hands on these tickets? Simple.

Send an email to staff@rockfreaks.net stating exactly why YOU should be the person taking his friend to this gig-to-die-for, place "Hatebreed competition" in subject line and include your FULL NAME, PHONE NUMBER and ADDRESS in the end of the email.

There is no minimum or maximum word limit on your email, so you can drop us a single line or write a novel - up to you. The submissions are open until midnight October 25th, after which we (Rockfreaks.net staff) will sit down, read through all the responses and vote on the one we think is the best. The one that receives the most votes wins.

Band information

Hatebreed is the most successful hardcore band of all time with hundreds of thousands of records sold just in the US! Many readers will probably also recognize their frontman Jamey Jasta's metal/hardcore show "Headbanger's Ball" which airs 10pm on Saturdays on MTV2. Their latest album "Supremacy" (Read review) was incredibly well received for a reason; it's simply the group's best album to date, and songs like "Destroy Everything" are likely to cause a riot at the gig. The moshing won't be any less intense during the support acts either, as the renowned, highly influential metalcore legends Unearth will certainly prove ("III: The Eyes Of Fire" review) during their main support slot after Twelve Tribes has torn the stage apart.

This competition is open to everyone except for Rockfreaks.net and Target ApS employees and family members. The winner is selected by a majority-rules vote within the Rockfreaks.net staff, and in case of a tie, the final decision will be made by a Target representative. The winning entry and a few runner ups will be published on the site. If you do not wish your name to be published please mention it in your email. Your details will be kept safe and not shared with third parties as detailed in privacy policy". Entry is limited to one per snailmail address.
