This is a couple weeks old, but it's interesting nonetheless. Wimp.dk recently organized a vote for which bands people were interested in seeing at Roskilde Festival 2012 - similar to the one the festival itself runs a couple of times each year - and they received over 100,000 votes.

What's more interesting, however, is how they've divided the results into genres. Check out the pie chart below:
