Randy Blythe released; details of manslaughter allegations emerge

Posted by AP on 01/07/12

Various media are reporting that Randy Blythe has been released from custody in the Czech Republic on bail after appearing in court, and some more light has also been shed on the charges of manslaughter he faces.

The charges apparently stem from an incident from a 2010 show Lamb Of God played at the Abaton in Prague. That show saw a 19 year old fan identified as Daniel N. jump on stage a number of times, causing Blythe to eventually push him back; where he subsequently fell into the audience and hit his head. The fan suffered internal bleeding and fell into a coma, dying 14 days later.

More news on the situation are expected shortly.
