Guys, lets face it. We all like Fight Club. Brad Pitt pulls off one of his best performances in that movie. Now, we've been hearing good things about a new Brad Pitt flick in the crime/thriller category called Killing Them Softly, which premieres on December 6th in Denmark. He's supposed to be back at his best form, based on what we’ve been hearing. It's a film based on the 1974 novel "Cogan's Trade" by George V. Higgins, and features some of the same dark humor as you’ve seen on Pitt’s previous movies, which is one of the reasons why the film has been receiving positive reviews at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival earlier this year.

The plot follows professional enforcer Jackie Cogan (Pitt), who investigates a heist that occurs during a high-stakes, mob-protected poker game. He is hired to restore order after three dumb guys rob a Mob protected card game, causing the local criminal economy to collapse, a stark and deliberate analogy to the world financial crisis according to some reviewers. But without giving away the plot too much, here's a trailer you can check out:

Or, if you prefer it with Danish subtitles, you can check it out here instead.
