As the announcement of Tinderbox Festival has become official, more details have begun leaking into the public. Among others is the musical profile of the festival, which according to rumours will attempt to follow in similar direction as NorthSide Festival in terms of the musical profile.

The festival is being marketed as a 'rock festival', but it is our understanding so far that the term is being interpreted in rather wide terms compared to what your average Download Festival or Reading/Leeds fan would associate it with.

The festival will take place between June 25th and 28th next year in Odense, and will feature no camping. There are approximately 400 hotels and restaurants in Odense according to a 2012 survey - which means that it'll be interesting to see how the city will deal with capacity issues.
