Anton Newcombe elaborates on Apple disagreement

Anton Newcombe, founder of The Brian Jonestown Massacre, has taken to Twitter to vent his rage about his ongoing struggles with Apple. Allegedly, Apple have tried to force Newcombe to let them use Brian Jonestown Massacre music for free over the course of three months for their upcoming streaming service.

So @APPLEOFFICIAL has a new deal they offered me: they said "we want to stream your music free for 3 months.." I said what if I say no, and they said "we'll take your music off iTunes." hard ball? Fuck these satanic corporations.

You can read Anton Newcombe's full array of statements regarding Apple over at his Twitter page.

Apparently this isn't the first time Apple have gotten into trouble on the subject matter, as they were also under investigation for ‘collusion’ against other streaming platforms earlier this month after it emerged they had been pressuring labels to choose Apple Music over other services.
