Saint Rebel calls it quits; final show announced

Posted by AP on 25/08/15

Danish hard rockers Saint Rebel have decided to call it quits after 10 years as a band. The band will go out in style with a show at Paramount in Roskilde on October 02nd — the very venue and date of their first-ever show a decade ago.

The group has issued the following statement regarding their demise:

The Hard rock group SAINT REBEL has decided to stop their cooperation due to different priorities that needs to be respected internally in the band.

This means that the band can no longer dedicate their performance 110 % to the music and all other things it brings along. This decision is not due to lack of friendship in the band but simply that we have to face that this project needs fully attention or no attention at all – we have unfortunately chosen the last option as SAINT REBEL has always worked this way – even if it was with our 2 self financed records or our 2 tours within USA. Everything has got the attention and focus it needed even if it was at our rehearsals or at the live shows we have played.

We would like to thank all of our different cooperation partners through the past 10 years. We have always been very grateful for the support and help the music business has treated us with. But the most important people to thank are all you fantastic fans who supported us over the last 10 years! Without you guys there would be no us... THANK YOU! Finally we can announce that we are going to play one final show at Paramount in Roskilde October 2nd 2015. This concert will be presented in cooperation with Obscene and will be our next and final show and we hope that as many of you will join us on this very special day.

Again we need to state that this breakup has nothing to do with us not being friends but simply out of different priorities that we need to bring full attention too.
