For fans of Baroness, the revelation of the artwork for a new album is just as much an event as the streaming of new singles and the announcement of further details. The band has kept people waiting a long time for this with regard to their forthcoming album ”Purple”, showing only the top left quadrant of the album cover until today. In the video below, you can view a time lapse of the entire artwork taking shape, and as usual, John Baizley’s work is nothing short of stunning. ”Purple” is set for release on December 18th through the group’s own Abraxan Hymns imprint.
