Every Time I Die cancels immediate European touring plans

Every Time I Die are the latest in a string of bands to cancel their immediate touring plans in Europe as a consequence of the terrorist attacks that shook Paris, France this past weekend and left at least 132 people dead.

In doing so, they join Foo Fighters, Deftones and naturally also Eagles Of Death Metal, whose sold out concert at the Bataclan venue bore the brunt of the senseless violence.

Here's the statement from Every Time I Die:

In light of current world events we have decided to postpone some of our upcoming shows in order to be with our families back at home. If you had planned to come see us, we are incredibly sorry for disappointing you. Londoners, the tickets you have purchased for this week will be honored on the new dates so please hold onto them, though refunds will be available if you cannot make it. To the people of Birmingham and Reykjavik, we sadly cannot make these exact club shows happen. Refunds are available at point of purchase. Please bear with us for the moment. These are strange times.
