Bruce Springsteen won’t be playing ”The River” in full on EU & UK tour

Contrary to what most people might think, Bruce Springsteen & the E-Street Band will not be playing the Boss’ classic album in its entirety. In all honesty, it’s never been officially declared by the man himself or anyone from his management that “The River” would be played in full, but it was believed by most to be the case since the tour’s called “The River Tour”.

A few nights ago, Springsteen announced at a show that this would be the last night they’d be playing the album. Several questions were raised afterwards, leading bassist Garry Tallent to announce on Twitter that not all songs on “The River” would be showcased, nor would the songs that are actually being performed come in the correct order as featured on the album.

Bruce Springsteen & the E-Street Band will be playing both Parken, Copenhagen, and Casa Arena, Horsens, on June 22nd and July 20th, respectively. Check out ticket information, Facebook events and full list of date through this link.
