Roadburn Festival '17 announces first artists

Posted by AP on 05/10/16

The first bookings for next year’s edition of Roadburn Festival have been announced, and are listed below. Even before glossing over the artists, however, read out feature article covering this year’s festivities, and you’ll know this is a festival that needs to be experienced.

Per tradition, the festival features a curator on one of the days, and this time the choice has landed on John Dyer Baizley, who is in charge of the program on the Main Stage and the Het Patronaat venue on Friday, April 21st, and naturally, his band Baroness will also play on that day.

Baroness (us)

Coven (us)

Gnod (uk) — Artist in residence

Les Discrets (fr)

Oranssi pazuzu (fi)

Perturbator (fr)

Pillorian (us)

Schammasch (ch) — performing "Triangle" in full

Warning (uk) — performing ”From a Distance” in full

The festival will take place between April 20th and April 23rd across various venues in Tilburg, Netherlands. Tickets will be on sale on October 20th, but if you plan to attend, we would strongly recommend booking your accommodation as soon as possible, as these tend to be sold out within days of the first band announcement.

Keep an eye on the official Facebook event for updates.
