Strike Anywhere to headline Manchester Punk Festival 2017

Manchester Punk Festival announced that political punks Strike Anywhere will be returning to the UK for the first time since 2010, along with the following statement:

We are ecstatic to be able to announce that we are bringing Strike Anywhere back to the UK for the first time in over 6 years. To have a band like this involved in our event is a real privilege for us. We have grown up listening to their music and are proud to be able to welcome them on to the line up.


This band does not come around too often, do not miss it! Strike Anywhere will be playing on the Friday of MPF2017, heading up the bands at Sound Control.


Other bands announced so far include:

Paint It Black, The Toasters, Belvedere, Martha, AOS3, Ducking Punches, Faintest Idea, Honey Joy, Petrol Girls, BrainDead, Money Left To Burn, The Domestics, Myelin, Grand Collapse, Maid of Ace, Mighty Midgets, Larrakia, Edward In Venice, Shot!, Vitriolic Response, The Living Daylights, Pizzatramp, Fair Do’s, Stoj Snak, Tim Loud, Tragical History Tour, Crywank & A Great Notion.


Manchester Punk Festival is happening 20-22 April 2017 across a number of venues in Manchester City Centre.
