Borås, Sweden’s old-school melodic death metallers Evocation will release a new album titled ”The Shadow Archetype” via Metal Blade Records on March 10th. The outing contains eleven tracks, which are listed beneath the artwork here:

”The Shadow Archetype” is based on Carl Gustav Jung’s theories on psychological archetypes — the idea that we unwittingly inherit both good and evil from our predecessors — and explores topics derived from vocalist/lyricist Thomas Josefsson’s interest in the concept of control, whether through psychological, sexual, authoritarian or other methods.
