Ipswich, United Kingdom-based grungy emo-rockers Basement have signed with the Fueled By Ramen record label, and the first result of the association will be a deluxe re-issue of the band’s most recent album, ”Promise Everything”, which we reviewed here.

The effort will feature re-mixed and re-mastered versions of the original tracks, as well as the four bonus tracks: acoustic renditions of ”Aquasun”, ”Blinded Bye” and ”Cloud”, as well as a cover of The Cardigans”My Favourite Game”. A digital release is planned for March 03rd, while CDs are set to land in stores on March 17th, and vinyls will arrive on May 19th.

Speaking about the re-issue, vocalist Andrew Fisher offered:

When we recorded the album Promise Everything we didn’t have the luxury of time. The concept of sitting on songs and making sure we were happy with their arrangement was alien to us.

With the re-release of the record we felt it was the perfect opportunity to go back to the song we thought was the strongest and make it as good as we could. Here’s what we came up with! Thanks for checking it out.
