Burning Heart has signed Sounds Like Violence. The label has issued the following press release:

"Burning Heart Records is pleased to announce that Sweden's Sounds Like Violence has joined the ranks of the Burning Heart Records, through a license partnership with Deep Elm Records. Burning Heart will be releasing the band's debut full-length (title TBA) outside of North America during September 2006.

"A vital band with an edge like this does not come around often. SLV is a relevant band being here and now with their jagged angsty music, as well as whipping up storms of nostalgia nodding their heads in the direction of early 90's rock" said Peter Ahlqvist, co-owner of Burning Heart.

"We couldn't more pleased," added Deep Elm founder John Szuch. "Burning Heart is second to none when it comes to developing promising bands and releasing amazing records throughout Europe. It was crystal clear to all of us that Sounds Like Violence was a perfect fit."

"All of the band members have been big fans of Burning Heart and their roster for quite a long time. To be able to count oneself among these great bands is an honor and here can be no better label for the band to work with outside of America. We hope that this newfound friendship will be long and giving for both Deep Elm and Sounds Like Violence. The forthcoming album and songs feel great and we can't wait for it to be released" said the members of Sounds Like Violence.
