Denmark’s premier metal festival Copenhell, which takes place at the Refshaleøen industrial area of Copenhagen between June 21st and June 23rd (plus a warm-up day on June 20th), has finalised its 2018 line-up with the addition of nine new artists.

In the big-letter compartment you will now find the shock rock legends W.A.S.P., who released a re-recorded version of their classic album, “The Crimson Idol”, last year in order to mark its 25th Anniversary. Joining them among the sub-liners are the glam metal jesters of Steel Panther as well as the Norwegian black metal titans Satyricon, who both issued new albums (“Lower the Bar” and “Deep Calleth Upon Deep”, respectively) in 2017.

Moving down the bill, the festival has also confirmed an appearance by the re-united heritage rockers from Sweden, Graveyard, the hyped Icelandic atmospheric black metal act Auðn, as well as the ever-amusing hard-rockers Danko Jones. The latter two artists likewise released new albums last year in the respective shapes of “Farvegir fyrndar” and “Wild Cat”.

From the up-and-coming segment, Copenhell has secured the services of the New York City, NY-based punk-blues duo The Last Internationale, who are currently in the process of crowdfunding their sophomore album, “Soul on Fire”.

And finally, the festival has completed its Danish representation with the addition of the groove metal troop Livløs and the provocative post-hardcore group Natjager. Be sure to check out their respective latest records, “Into Beyond” and “Hvad rejser bringer” (EP), in advance.

Tickets for the festival can be purchased here, while more information is available in the official Facebook event.
