The British guitarist and singer Mike Vennart of progressive rock/post-hardcore band Oceansize and electronic post-rock project British Theatre is releasing a new album under his moniker Vennart. The new album is called "To Cure A Blizzard Upon A Plastic Sea" and you can check out the first two singles, "Donkey Kong" and "Immortal Soldiers" below. The full album comes out on September 14th.

Vennart will be playing this year's ArcTanGent festival in Bristol, UK that takes place between August 16th and 19th. Tickets can be purchased here and the full line-up that includes Shellac, Glassjaw, and And So I Watch You From Afar can be checked out here.
