Jonquière, QC-born technical thrash metal outfit Voivod has unleashed the first single from their upcoming album, “The Wake”, which will be released through Century Media on September 21st. The track is called “Obsolete Beings” and comes with a music video, which you can watch below.

Danish fans can look forward to watching the band live at Pumpehuset in Copenhagen on October 14th, with support from Bio-Cancer. Tickets cost 245 DKK and can be purchased via Ticketmaster.dk, while more information is available in the official Facebook event.
