Roadburn Festival has unveiled the second of its specially commissioned performances at the 2019 edition of the iconic event, which runs from April 11th to April 14th at a variety of venues within the Dutch city of Tilburg.

The spectacle will be known as “Molasses”, the title of which is borrowed from the final track to ex-The Devil’s Blood frontman Selim Lemouchi’s solo LP, “Earth Air Spirit Water Fire”; and it will unite Lemouchi and the rest of his former band with Astrosoniq drummer Marcel van de Vondervoort, Birth Of Joy drummer Bob Hogenelst and Donnerwetter keyboardist/pianist Matthijs Stronks for a brand new composition played once and only once at the festival. One should thus not expect to hear material from any of the bands underlying this project, but rather something extremely unique.
