Santa Fe, NM-based sludge metallers Old Man Gloom have surprise released a new album called “Seminar IX: Darkness of Being” digitally, and you can stream the entire effort below. It was originally planned as the follow-up to the band’s other upcoming record, “Seminar VIII: Light of Meaning”, but those plans became side-tracked and the order of release reversed as a result of the Covid-19 viral pandemic affecting the world right now.

The aforementioned “Seminar VIII: Light of Meaning” is still on course to be released by Profound Lore Records on May 22nd, and the details of if were listed in our previous news post. This newest creation will also meet a physical release on that date.

Danish fans can look forward to watching the group live at Roskilde Festival this coming summer, where they are scheduled to perform on Wednesday, July 01st. Tickets for the festival are all but sold out, but you can explore the remaining options here. For more details, check the official Facebook event.
