Århus, Denmark-born death / thrash metal stalwarts Hatesphere recently announced the departure of their longtime vocalist Esben ‘Esse’ Kjær Hansen, who has decided to pursue other projects instead. The replacement — at least for the time being — will be Michael Olsson, who also plies his trade in Blood Eagle, Caro and Defacing God.

In related news, the band recently released their cover of Dio’s “Stand Up and Shout”, which you can listen to below. It was previously only available on the Japanese edition of their latest album, 2018’s “Reduced to Flesh”.
