Pacific Northwestern atmospheric sludge metallers SUMAC have announced a new collaborative album with Keiji Haino. It is called “Into This Juvenile Apocalypse Our Golden Blood to Pour Let Us Never” and will be released by Thrill Jockey on October 07th. The following lengthily titled songs are included on it:

01. “When logic rises morality falls. Logic and morality in Japanese are but one character different.”

02. “A shredded coiled cable. Within this cable sincerity could not be contained.”

03. “Into this juvenile apocalypse our golden blood to pour. Let us never.”

04. “Because the evidence of a fact is valued over the fact itself truth?? becomes fractured.”

05. “The fuzz pedal you planted in your throat, its screw has started to come loose. Your next effects pedal is up to you. Do you have it ready?”

06. “That ‘regularity’ of yours, can you throw it further than me? And I don’t mean ‘discarding’ it.”

You can take a look at the artwork and pre-order the record on a format of your choosing via Bandcamp, while the first single is yet to premiere.

Danish fans can look forward to watching SUMAC live at Lille VEGA in Copenhagen on October 03rd, with support from Patrick Shiroishi. Tickets for the show are still available for purchase here for 200 DKK (+ fees), whilst more details can be found in the official Facebook event.

The concert belongs to a larger European tour, the complete routing for which is listed in our dates section.
