Deftones' frontman Chino Moreno spoke to Kerrang! earlier this week about the progress on the upcoming album.

When asked, Chino neither confirmed or denied the album title to be "Saturday Night Wrist", but instead he discussed the possibility of the title to be "Lovers". He also stated that this album would be the "heaviest shit we've written. On our last record we got kind of lazy by writing as few riffs as possible, but on this one we're writing more riffs."

Chino also confirmed that the album would be released in late september. As a big surprise to everyone, he also revealed that Deftones are planning on releasing a rarities/b-sides album, accompanied by a DVD full of "insane footage of crazy stage shows and wild shit".
