New York City, NY-based experimental doom and drone metal supergroup Khanate, whose line-up unites the former OLD vocalist Alan Dubin and guitarist James Plotkin with Blind Idiot God’s drummer Tim Wyskida and Sunn O)))’s guitarist Stephen O’Malley, has been confirmed as the first band for the 2024 edition of Roadburn Festival.

The festival is set to take place at various venues across the Dutch city of Tilburg between April 18th and April 21st, and partout tickets are already on sale over at Ticketmaster.nl for 259 EUR (+ fees). Further details about the festivities can be found in the official Facebook event.

Khanate released a new full-length album titled “To Be Cruel” via Sacred Bones earlier this year, and you can check out a visualiser clip for the track “Like a Poisoned Dog” from it below.
