Ihsahn reveals details of new self-titled album

Norwegian progressive metal artist Ihsahn, who is best known as the frontman of the black metal band Emperor, has revealed February 16th to be the official release date for his new self-titled album. It will be issued through Candlelight Records in both a metallic and an orchestral version, and includes the following tracks:

04. “Twice Born”

05. “A Taste of the Ambrosia”

06. “Anima Extraneae”

07. “Blood Trails to Love”

08. “Hubris and Blue Devils”

10. “At the Heart of All Things Broken”

11. “Sonata Profana”


Pre-orders for all formats of the effort have been launched via this link, which will also reveal the artwork, while the official music video for the lead single “Pilgrimage to Oblivion” is available for viewing below, alongside a visualiser clip for the orchestra version of it.
