High On Fire to release "Cometh the Storm" in April

Oakland, CA’s sludge metal stalwarts High On Fire have set April 19th as the official release date for their new studio album “Cometh the Storm”. It will be issued through MNRK Heavy and includes the following tracks:

04. “Cometh the Storm”

05. “Karanlik Yol”

06. “Sol’s Golden Curse”

07. “The Beating”

08. “Tough Guy”

09. “Lightning Beard”

10. “Hunting Shadows”

11. “Darker Fleece”


Pre-orders for all formats of the record have been launched via this link, which will also reveal the artwork, while the official music video for the lead single “Burning Down” is available for viewing below.


Danish fans can look forward to watching the band live at this year’s edition of Copenhell on Saturday, June 22nd. Standard tickets for that specific day are completely sold out, but you can still purchase a full partout ticket for 2755 DKK (+ fees) or one-day tickets for the other days for 1305 DKK (+ fees) over at Ticketmaster.dk.
