On the back of their recent European tour announcement, the Finnish cello metal ensemble Apocalyptica has also now revealed that they’ll be releasing their new tribute full-length “Plays Metallica Vol. 2” via Napalm Records on June 07th. It consists of these interpretations:

03. “The Unforgiven II”

04. “Blackened”

05. “The Call of Ktulu”

06. “The Four Horsemen” (feat. Robert Trujillo of Metallica)

07. “Holier than Thou”

08. “To Live Is to Die”

10. “One” (instrumental)

Pre-orders for all formats of the record have been launched via this link, which will also reveal the artwork, while the official music video for the band’s take on “The Four Horsemen” is available for viewing below.

The aforementioned trek includes concerts at Amager Bio in Copenhagen on September 23rd and at Train in Århus on September 24th. Tickets for the two shows cost 375 DKK (+ fees) and can be bought here and here, respectively, while more information is available in the official Facebook events here and here.
