New Brunswick, NJ-formed heartland rock icons The Gaslight Anthem have surprise dropped a companion EP titled “History Books - Short Stories” for their latest studio album “History Books”, which came out via Thirty Tigers in 2023 and which was reviewed by us here.

The EP features two songs: a long-awaited studio version of the band’s 2007 live take “Blue Jeans & White T-Shirts”, as well as a cover of Billie Eilish’s “Ocean Eyes” — both of which can be heard below.
