Mastodon have been forced to cancel their forthcoming European tour due to guitarist Bill Kelliher being diagnosed with pancreatitis and ordered to rest for the next few months as he undergoes treatment.

Unfortunately this is bad news for Copenhell (which has already seen cancellations from DevilDriver and Suicide Silence) as the band was meant to headline it on the Saturday (June 12th). The festival is currently looking for an appropriate replacement.

In more positive news, the festival has revealed a limited edition Copenhell Brew with an alcohol content of 6.66%, which we understand will be available in the festival's beer tent.
